지난 11월 25,26일 남양주시 풋살경지장에서 제1회 (사)자연보호 남양주시 협의회장(박순좌)배 풋살대회가 회원과 지역주민 100여 명이 참석한 가운데 성황리에 개최 됐다.

(사)자연보호 남양주시 협의회 회장(박순좌)은 개회사를 통해 지금까지 자연보호라고 하면 청소하고 쓰레기 줍는 행사 하천정화 활동 등을 위주로 진행 했다면 이제는 시대에 맞는 사람중심의 활동으로 체력증진과 교육을 기본으로 생각과 마음과 정신을 변화시켜 사람이 건강해 진다면 자연은 자연히 보호받을 수 있을 것이라 생각한다면서 앞으로도 이런 행사를 통하여서 변화가 잘 된다면 자연은 보호받을 수 있을 것이라는 뜻을 밝혔다. 경기에 심취해 응원하던 송은혜 회원은 ‘내년에는 여성회원들도 대회에 참석할 수 있도록 해달라며 팀을 구성하여 미리 준비를 해보겠다’고 적극적으로 대회 참석 의사를 밝혔다. 이에 여성 회원들의 환호를 받았다.
