브레이크뉴스 박동제 기자= 희망브리지 전국재해구호협회는 26일 “배우 박진영이 산불 피해 지원과 소방관 지원을 위해 총 5천만원을 기부했다”고 밝혔다.
박진영은 “산불 피해와 함께 현장에서 밤낮없이 고생하는 소방관들의 이야기에 마음이 무거웠다”며 “작은 힘이나마 보태고 싶다는 뜻으로 기부를 결정했다”고 전했다.
박진영은 이번 기부를 통해 누적 기부금 1억원을 달성하며 희망브리지의 개인 고액 기부자 모임인 ‘희망브리지 아너스클럽’ 회원으로 위촉됐다.
희망브리지 신훈 사무총장은 “박진영의 기부는 피해 주민과 현장 인력을 향한 따뜻한 마음이 담긴 나눔”이라며 “소중한 뜻이 현장에서 의미 있게 쓰일 수 있도록 책임 있게 전달하겠다”고 말했다.
한편, 희망브리지는 경북 의성군과 경남 산청군 산불 피해 현장에 긴급 구호물품을 지원 중이며, 현장 임시대피소에 세탁구호차량·심신회복버스 등 구호차량을 투입해 운영 중이다. 지자체 등과 협의해 필요시 추가 지원도 검토 중이다.
