도널드 트럼프 미국 대통령이 12일(현지시간) 중국과의 무역 갈등 재 점화 관련해 "중국에 대해 걱정 말라. 모든 게 잘될 것"이라며 "미국은 중국을 해치려는 게 아닌 도우려는 것"이라고 밝혔다.
미 'AP 통신'에 따르면 트럼프 대통령은 이날 자신의 트루스소셜을 통해 이같이 밝힌 후 "매우 존경받는 시(시진핑) 주석이 잠시 안 좋은 순간을 겪었을 뿐"이라며 "그는 자기 나라가 불황을 겪는 걸 원치 않으며 나 역시 마찬가지"라고 덧붙였다.
