이재명 대통령이 13일 "지금 우리가 처한 위기를 국민 삶을 개선하는 새로운 기회로 만들 수 있도록 주권자 제일의 공복으로서 국가 역량을 단단히 모아나가야겠다"고 밝혔다.

이 대통령은 이날 오후 용산 대통령실에서 열린 수석보좌관회의에서 "대내외 여건이 어렵긴 하나 바람이 거셀수록 연이 높이 나는 원리도 생각해봐야 한다"며 이같이 말했다.

그러면서 "정치는 국민 삶·공동체의 더 나은 내일을 위해 존재하는 것"이라며 "국민의 먹고사는 문제를 해결하기 위해서라면 없던 길도 만들어내는 게 바로 정치 책임·주권자 국민의 뜻"이라고 했다.

또 "K컬쳐가 굳건히 뿌리내리기 위해 문화 생태계를 포괄하는 종합 대책이 꼭 필요하다"며 "문화 콘텐츠 기반 확충에 필요한 재정 마련·세제·규제 혁신에 속도를 내고 문화 예술인에 대한 사회안전망 강화 노력도 서둘러야 한다"고 했다.

이어 국회 국정감사 관련해 "국회도 여야 가릴 것 없이 국민·국가를 위한 길에 발걸음을 함께해주시길 요청한다"며 "정부 역시 국감에 적극 협조하도록 지시했다"고 말했다.
