브레이크뉴스 박동제 기자= 글로벌이앤비 측은 6일 "차세대 여성 리더를 발굴하는 '제69회 미스코리아 선발대회'가 성료됐다. 올해 '진(眞)'의 영예는 교육자를 꿈꾸는 정연우(24·충남대학교 전기전자통신공학교육과)가 안았다"고 밝혔다.
지난 5일 글로벌이앤비(GLOBAL E&B)가 주최하는 제69회 미스코리아 선발대회 본선이 서울 강남구 코엑스 오디토리움에서 개최됐다. 이날 제63회 미스코리아 '선' 우희준과 제67회 미스코리아 '선(善)' 정규리가 공동 MC를 맡아 안정적인 진행력을 과시했다.
올해 대회는 △사상 최초의 패자부활전 실시 △서바이벌 방식 도입 △공정성 강화를 위한 국민투표와 심사위원 투표 병행 △다양한 배경의 참가자들을 위한 참가 자격 확대 등 시대의 흐름에 발맞춘 다양한 변화들로 기존의 틀을 깬 다각형 여성 인재 발굴을 예고했다.

'선(善)'의 영예는 김보금(25· 경희대학교 무용학부)에게 돌아갔다. '미(美)'는 유은서(26·수원과학대학교 항공관광과)가 수상했다. '미' 유은서는 제66회 미스코리아 선발대회 '선'인 유시은의 친동생으로, 2023년 미스코리아 도전 이후 패자부활전을 통해 다시 한 번 문을 두드린 본선 대회에서 수상의 기쁨을 안으며 언니와 나란히 미스코리아 왕관을 쓰게 됐다.
올해 대회에서 신설된 부문인 '예(藝)'에는 박지유(20·동덕여자대학교 방송연예과), '재(才)'에는 이서현(22·서울대학교 동양학과/벤처 경영학과)가 이름을 올렸다.
