브레이크뉴스 박동제 기자= JTBC는 5일 “오는 6일 새벽 1시 40분부터 ‘2026 FIFA 북중미 월드컵’ 조 추첨식을 생중계한다”고 밝혔다.
‘2026 FIFA 북중미 월드컵’ 본선 조 추첨이 오는 6일 새벽 2시, 미국 워싱턴DC 케네디센터에서 진행된다.(한국시간 기준, 현지 기준 5일 금요일 정오)
48개국이 참가하는 이번 월드컵은 FIFA 랭킹을 기준으로 구성된 4개의 조 추첨 포트에서 1팀씩 추첨해 12개의 조를 배정한다. 각 조의 1위와 2위, 그리고 12개 조 3위 중 성적이 좋은 8개 팀이 32강 토너먼트에 오른다.
