브레이크뉴스 박동제 기자= 방송인 남희석이 KBS1 ‘전국노래자랑’ 새 MC로 발탁됐다.
4일 KBS 측은 “‘전국노래자랑’의 새 진행자로 남희석이 확정됐다”고 밝혔다.
이어 “故(고) 송해에 이어 젊은 에너지로 이끌어줬던 김신영에게 감사드리며, 새로운 진행자 남희석에게 응원부탁드린다”며 “새 진행자 남희석의 첫 방송은 오는 31일 예정이다”고 덧붙였다.
앞서 이날 ‘전국노래자랑’을 34년간 이끈 故 송해의 후임 MC로 발탁, 지난 2022년 10월 16일부터 ‘전국노래자랑’을 이끌었던 김신영의 하차 소식이 전해졌다.
이에 대해 김신영의 씨제스 스튜디오 측은 브레이크뉴스에 “제작진이 MC 교체 통보를 받고 당황해 연락이 왔고, 지난주 마지막 녹화 관련 통보를 받았다”고 밝혔다.
김신영 측은 “오는 9일 인천 서구편을 마지막 녹화로, 김신영은 2년 여간 전국을 누비며 달려온 제작진들과 힘차게 마지막 녹화에 임할 예정이다”고 전했다.
한편, ‘전국노래자랑’ 새 진행자로 발탁된 남희석의 첫 방송은 오는 31일 예정이다.
