【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구 엑스코에서 국내 유일의 국제 안경전 ‘제22회 대구국제안경전(DIOPS)’이 개최된다.

대구시가 주최하고 한국안광학산업진흥원이 주관하는 대구국제안경전은 엑스코 서관 전시장 1홀, 2홀에서 3일부터 5일까지 진행된다. 전시 관람시간은 오전 10시부터 오후 5시까지이며, 마지막 날인 5일은 오후 4시까지이다.

행사에는 안경테, 렌즈, 안광학기기 등 안광학산업 관련 350개 부스가 참가하며 사전 등록한 국내외 바이어 수 역시 전년 대비 3배 이상 늘어나 2만여명이 참관할 것으로 기대된다. 해외에서는 17개사에서 해외 바이어 500명 가량이 참가한다.

부대행사로는 대한안경사협회의 무료검안행사, XR, VR 등을 체험할 수 있는 스마트글라스 특별관, K-아이웨어 메타버스 홍보관, 소공인 특별관 등이 개최되어 즐길거리를 더한다. 아울러 해외 바이어와의 온라인 수출상담회가 실시되어 수출 성과를 높일 예정이다.

올해는 기술 혁신과 디자인 혁신을 이끌기위해 ‘DIOPS 혁신상’이 신설되어 눈길을 끈다. 혁신상에 선정된 기업에는 지원사업 우대, 2025 DIOPS 특별관 운영, 국내외 홍보활동 지원 등 다양한 혜택이 있다.

홍준표 대구광역시장은 “올해 디옵스 행사를 통해서 안광학산업의 새로운 트렌드를 공유하고 혁신적인 기술력이 확산되는 계기가 되기를 바란다”며 “대구의 안경산업이 세계적인 경쟁력을 유지해 나갈 수 있도록 정책적 지원을 아끼지 않겠다”고 말했다.

Daegu Mayor Hong Jun-pyo said, “I hope that this year’s DIOPS event will serve as an opportunity to share new trends in the ophthalmic optics industry and spread innovative technology.” He added, “We will not spare any policy support to ensure that Daegu’s eyewear industry maintains global competitiveness.” He said.
