[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] BNK경남은행은 3일 경상남도 등과 ‘경상남도 소상공인 특별 금융지원 상생협약’을 체결했다.

경남도청에서 열린 경상남도 소상공인 특별 금융지원 상생협약에는 BNK경남은행과 경상남도를 비롯해 경남신용보증재단, 농협은행, 하나은행, 국민은행, 신한은행, 우리은행, 카카오뱅크 등이 참여했다.

상생협약에 따라 BNK경남은행을 포함한 7개 금융기관은 지난해 136억 원보다 대폭 증액된 총 164억 원을 경남신용보증재단에 특별 출연해 도내 소상공인의 금융지원을 강화하기로 했다.

이번 특별출연금을 재원으로 자금난을 겪고 있는 도내 소상공인과 소기업에 2160억 원 규모의 융자와 보증을 지원하기로 했다. 특히 BNK경남은행은 역대 최대 규모인 50억 원을 특별출연하고 총 750억 원의 대출을우대금리를 적용해 지원할 예정이다.

박상호 고객마케팅본부 상무는 “경남신용보증재단에 출연하게 되는 금융기관의 특별출연금이 도내 영세 소상공인에게 희망을 주는 소중한 밑거름이 되고 지속 성장할 수 있는 계기가 됐으면 한다. BNK경남은행은 지역 경제의 든든한 버팀목이 돼 실질적이고 실효성 있는 금융지원을 확대하기 위해 더욱 노력하겠다”고 말했다.

한편 BNK경남은행은 경상남도 소상공인 특별 금융지원 상생협약에 앞서 지난 2월 ‘경남지역 중소기업 성장지원을 위한 업무 협약’을 맺고 지역 중소기업들의 금융 부담을 완화해 주고 있다.
