(장흥=브레이크뉴스) 이학수 기자=전남 장흥군은 지난 26일 중국 절강성 장흥현 대표단을 제17회 정남진 장흥군 물축제에 초청하여 성공적인 교류를 이어갔다고 밝혔다.

중국 장흥현의 이번 방문은 2015년 9월부터 이어져온 양 지역 간의 문화적, 경제적 협력 강화를 목적으로 진행됐다.

중국 장흥현 대표 방문단은 이날 장흥군에 도착하여 김성 군수와의 환담(사진)을 시작으로 공식 일정을 시작했다.

이날 환담에서는 양 지역 간의 우호 관계 증진 및 상호 협력 방안에 대해 심도 있는 논의했다.

김성 군수는 “장흥에 머무는 동안 축제 문화와 음식을 마음껏 즐기시길 바란다”며 “이번 방문이 한국을 더 깊이 이해할 수 있는 기회가 되길 기대한다”고 말했다.

우추징 부현장은 “이번 방문을 통해 장흥군의 문화를 깊이 느낄 수 있는 기회가 생겨서 좋고 이번 방문을 통해 두 도시가 더욱 협력하는 계기가 되었으면 한다”고 답했다.

다음날 일정은 장흥군의 대표 관광지인 우드랜드 편백숲에 방문해 숲길을 걷는 시간을 가졌다.

이어 안중근 의사를 기억하는 공간인 해동사와 추모 역사관에 방문해 역사와 독립운동에 대한 해설을 들으며, 장흥군의 자연과 문화유산을 체험하는 시간을 가졌다.

토요시장 오찬 후 물축제 대표 프로그램인 살수대첩 거리 퍼레이드에 참여해 ‘지구 온난화 타파 치유의 물, 건강의 물, 장수의 물 장흥’ 퍼포먼스를 체험하고 개막식 참석을 마지막으로 일정을 마쳤다.
