한국예총 대전광역시연합회(이하 대전예총, 회장 성낙원)가 오는 8월 6일부터 8월 11일까지(6일간) <대전 0시축제>와 맞물려 개최하는 “2024 대전국제청소년예술제” 경연대회 참가자 신청을 마감했다.

이번 경연대회 본선에서 겨룰 청소년 참가자의 신청을 지난 26일 마감했다. 첫 번째 행사이지만 해외에서 160여 명이 신청했고 국내에서는 700여 명이 신청해 청소년들의 뜨거운 관심을 보였다.

대전예총은 “꿈을 향한 패기 있는 도전, 끼를 펼쳐라!”란 슬로건을 걸고 개최하는 2024 대전국제청소년예술제를 통해 우수한 재능과 미래에 대한 꿈을 가진 청소년을 발굴하고 그 잠재 능력을 맘껏 발휘할 수 있는 토대를 마련하고자 한다. 이번 행사는 글로벌 시대에 국제 예술 교류를 통해 청소년들에게 새로운 예술문화 활동을 창출하는 기회의 장이 되어줄 것이다.

2024 대전국제청소년예술제는 8월 6일부터 8월 11일까지(6일간) 우리들공원과 대전청소년위캔센터, 갤러리 유원에서 청소년들의 끼를 발산하면서 서로의 기량을 알아가며 성장하는 기회의 장이 될 것이다. 그리고 대전시립미술과느 한빛탐, 천연기념물센터, 국립중앙과학관, 목원대학교, KAIST 등 대전의 명소를 관광하며 체험활동을 펼칠 예정이다.
