브레이크뉴스 정민우 기자= 한국마사회가 사회복지공동모금회 경기도지회 및 한국사회적기업진흥원과 ‘2024년 농어촌 및 로컬활성화 지원사업’에 참여할 사회적경제기업을 모집한다.
지난해보다 더 많은 최대 5개사를 선발하는 이번 사업의 지원대상은 농어촌 지역은 물론, 일반 지역사회의 경제적, 사회적 가치 창출에 도전하는 사회적경제기업이다. 특히, 다문화가정 지원 및 동물복지 증진과 연계성이 높은 프로젝트를 우대할 예정이다.
올해 선정된 기업들은 각 1000~2000만원 규모의 프로젝트 사업비와 5회 내외의 온/오프라인 1:1 전문 컨설팅을 지원받게 된다. 작년과 동일하게 (예비)사회적경제기업에는 한국사회적기업진흥원의 전문컨설팅이 연계 지원된다. 재화 판매기업의 경우 한국사회적기업진흥원과 한국마사회의 보유 자원을 활용해 판로 지원을 제공하는 등 지난해보다 지원을 강화했다.
신청 마감은 오는 16일 16시까지이며, 참여를 희망하는 기관은 사회적기업 청그라미 홈페이지에서 자세한 사항을 확인할 수 있다.
한편, 한국마사회는 이번 지원사업 외에도 농어촌 지역의 불균형 문제 해소를 위한 다양한 사회공헌 사업을 진행하고 있다. 대표사업으로는 농어촌 지역 대학생 자녀 대상 용산 장학관 운영, 농촌지역 청소년을 위한 농어촌 청소년 오케스트라(KYDO : Korea Young Dream Orchestra), 사회복지시설에 대한 차량 지원 사업 등이다. 또한, 말을 활용한 사회공익 힐링 승마, 동물복지 사회공헌사업 등 공기업으로서 사회적 책임을 다하기 위해 적극적으로 노력하고 있다.
한국마사회 정기환 회장은 “본 지원사업은 농어촌은 물론 지역사회의 다양한 문제 해결을 지원하고 사회적경제기업의 공존을 모색할 수 있는 좋은 계기”라며 “농어촌 및 지역사회에 활기를 불어넣기 위해 한국마사회가 지속적인 관심과 노력을 다하겠다”고 전했다.
