브레이크뉴스 박동제 기자= 세계적인 축구스타 크리스티아누 호날두(39·알나스르)가 유튜브 채널 개설 약 12시간 만에 구독자 1100만명을 돌파했다.
호날두는 21일(한국시간) ‘UR 크리스티아누’라는 이름의 유튜브 채널을 개설한 뒤 자신의 인터뷰, 축구 인생 등을 담은 10여개의 동영상을 게재했다.
특히 호날두는 유튜브 채널을 개설한지 1시간 24분 만에 구독자 100만명을 돌파, 역대 최단 기록을 경신했다. 종전 최단 시간 ‘골드 버튼(구독자 100만 달성)’ 기록은 그룹 블랙핑크 멤버 제니의 7시간이었다.
호날두의 유튜브 채널은 22일 오전 10시 40분 기준 1100만명을 돌파했다. 호날두는 X(옛 트위터)와 페이스북, 인스타그램 등에서 약 9억명의 팔로워를 보유하고 있는 만큼, 유튜브 구독자 1억명을 돌파도 시간 문제로 보인다.
한편, 포르투갈 출신으로 호날두는 스포르팅 리스본(포르투갈)에서 프로 생활을 시작한 뒤 맨체스터 유나이티드(잉글랜드), 레알 마드리드(스페인), 유벤투스(이탈리아) 등 여러 빅클럽에서 활약했다.
