브레이크뉴스 임국정 기자 = 여당인 국민의힘이 9일 '비상계엄 동조' 의혹을 받고 있는 추경호 당 원내대표의 후임 선출에 나섰다. 추 원내대표는 지난 7일 윤석열 대통령 탄핵소추안 표결 이후 원내대표직 사퇴 의사를 밝혔다. 이에 당은 표결 절차를 거쳐 그를 재신임했지만, 추 원내대표는 사퇴 의사를 거둬들이지 않고 있는 상태였다.

한동훈 국민의힘 대표는 이날 오후 국회에서 열린 당 의원총회장을 나서며 기자들과 만나 "새로운 원내대표를 뽑기 위한 공고 절차를 오늘 이 의총에서 시작했다"라고 말했다.
