[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 금원산산림자원관리소는 금원산자연휴양림에서 반려견이 안전하고 쾌적한 산림휴양을 즐길 수 있도록 반려견 동반숙소가 2025년 1월 중 운영한다고 밝혔다.

최근 반려견 동반 인구가 증가함에 따라 자연휴양림 이용에 대한 수요가 증가하여 반려견과 보호자가 함께 안전하고 쾌적하게 숲속에서 휴양할 수 있도록 반려견 동반 숙소 2동을 마련했다.

반려견이 숲속에서 자유롭게 활동하며 보호자와 신뢰를 다질 수 있는 ‘반려견 놀이터(어질리티)’를 설치하는 등 휴양객의 이용 편의 향상에 노력하고 있다.

시설 이용요금은 주중(비수기) 6만8,600원, 주말(성수기) 9만8,000원에 반려견 동반 숙박시설을 이용할 수 있으며. 이용에 관한 자세한 사항은 ‘숲나들e’ 누리집을 통하여 확인할 수 있다.

또한, 최근 조례 개정을 통해 야영장 이용자의 입장료·주차료를 면제하는 등 시설 이용료를 현실화했으며, 도내 사회공헌자·자원봉사자에 대해 입장료를 면제하는 등 휴양시설 이용에 대한 혜택을 확대하고 있다.
