[브레이크뉴스 = 김태영 기자] 2025년 푸른 뱀의 해 청사년을 알리는 첫날인 1월 1일 오전 10시 17분 한양대학교병원에서 유은주 김용주 부부의 이란성 남아 쌍둥이(태명 : 쭈이, 쭈복이)가 한양대학교병원 1호 수술실에서 힘찬 울음소리를 내면서 태어났다.
새해둥이 주인공의 태명은 '첫째 쭈이'와 '둘째 쭈복이'이다. 태명은 "엄마 아빠 이름에 있는 동일한 '주'자를 따 태명 앞자 '쭈'가 나왔고 쭈이는 '주'들의 '2'세 라는 의미고, 쭈복이는 시험관 시술로 얻은 쌍둥이로 큰 '복'이라는 의미다"라는게 아이 부모들의 설명이다.
결혼 1년 차인 유은주(36), 김용주(36) 씨 부부는 지난해 5월경 서울 마리아 병원에서 시험관 시술을 받아 이란성 쌍둥이 임신에 성공했다.
이 병원 김묘선 선생님의 진료하에 진행된 시험관 시술은 첫 시술부터 무려 쌍둥이 임신이라는 결과로 병원 내 큰 화제가 되었다.
아이들의 엄마인 유은주 씨는 "작년 5월 시험관 수술로 이란성 쌍둥이를 가지게 되어 더욱 특별하다. 현재 아기 탄생을 위해 준비 중인 난임부부들 모두 하루빨리 행복한 순간을 맞이 하길 진심으로 바란다"라고 말했다.

이란성 쌍둥이인 쭈이와 쭈복이는 1분 간격을 두고 모두 건강하게 태어났다. 당초 출산 예정일은 2월 8일이었으나, 쌍둥인점을 감안해서 병원에서는 1월 8일 제왕절개 분만이 예정돼 있었지만 조기 진통이 시작돼 일주일 앞당겨진 1월 1일 청사의 해를 알리는 새해둥이로 태어났다.
쌍둥이(각각 2.1키로)인 관계로 몇 주 동안은 인큐베이터에서 케어를 받은 뒤 퇴원할 예정이며 모두 다 건강한 상태이다.
쭈이 쭈복이 엄마 아빠는 "너희 임신 소식을 듣고는 세상을 가진 기분이었다. 너희들이 어떤 사람이 되건 어디에 있건 언제나 사랑을 보낼게. 아프지 말고 따뜻한 사람이 되어주렴. 사랑해!"라며 애정의 메시지를 보냈다.
