브레이크뉴스 정민우 기자= 한국마사회 말박물관이 해마다 개최하고 있는 ‘말박물관 초대전’ 작가를 오는 16일까지 추가 공모한다.

이번 공모에서는 말과 관련된 소재의 미술 작품(평면, 입체 모두 가능)을 제작하는 작가들을 발굴, 소개한다. 지난해 12월 김서영, 김호경, 박현, 장효진 등 4명의 작가 선정에 이어 추가로 1명(팀)을 더 선발한다. 

개인 또는 단체 누구나 지원이 가능하다. 2030 청년 작가(1984년 이후 출생자), 박물관 소재지인 과천·경기지역 예술 공동체의 경우 우대 가산점이 주어진다.

한국마사회는 초대작가들이 작품을 홍보할 수 있도록 각 6주 가량의 전시실 대관과 리플렛, 배너 등 인쇄물 등을 무료로 지원하고 있다. 

관람객 대상 SNS 감상 이벤트로 기념품을 증정하는 행사를 연중 진행하며, 작품 운송 등에 필요한 55만원(제세 포함)의 지원비도 별도 제공된다. 

2025년 5월부터 8월 또는 11~12월 사이 6주간 말박물관 기획전시실에서 전시 기회를 가질 수 있다.

참여를 희망하는 작가는 전시계획안 양식을 다운 받아 전시 주제와 작품 이미지 10점을 첨부해 오는 16일 17시까지 이메일로 접수하면 된다.

심사 결과는 오는 18일 14시 한국마사회 홈페이지를 통해 발표될 예정이다.

An event is held throughout the year where visitors are given souvenirs as a SNS appreciation event, and a separate support fund of 550,000 won (including tax) is provided for transportation of the works, etc.

Artists who wish to participate should download the exhibition plan form, attach the exhibition theme and 10 images of their work, and submit it via email by 5 PM on the 16th.

The results of the evaluation will be announced on the Korea Racing Authority website at 2 PM on the 18th.
