[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 박완수 경남지사가 10일 오후 한파 취약계층을 찾아 한파쉼터 등 운영 실태를 점검하면서 어르신들의 안부도 살폈다.

이번 현장 방문은 지난 9일 경남 전역에 한파주의보가 발령된 가운데, 급격한 기온 하강으로 인한 도민 피해를 예방하고, 한파 대비 태세를 점검함으로써 도민들이 안전하고 따뜻한 겨울을 보낼 수 있도록 지원하기 위해 이루어졌다.

이에 진해 덕산동경로당 한파쉼터를 찾은 박완수 도지사는 난방 시설, 전력 공급 상태, 비상 물품 비치 여부 등을 점검했다.

또한 한파쉼터를 이용 중인 주민들과 대화를 나누며, 불편사항이나 개선이 필요한 부분에 대해 의견을 들었다.

이어 성산노인종합복지관을 방문해 어르신들이 따뜻하게 지낼 수 있도록 복지관의 시설과 안전 관리 상태를 살폈다.

어르신들에게 한파 대비 안전 수칙과 건강 관리 방법 등을 안내하고, 시설 관계자들에게는 필요한 지원이 즉시 이루어질 수 있도록 철저히 준비해 줄 것을 당부했다.

박완수 지사는 “겨울철 한파는 도민들, 특히 어르신들에게 큰 위험이 될 수 있다”며, “한파로부터 도민 한 분 한 분의 안전을 지킬 수 있도록 도 차원에서 모든 노력을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
