(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 부평구 유소년축구단이 오는 21일부터 27일까지 열리는 ‘2025 구례노고단배 유소년 축구 페스티벌’에 참가해 열전을 펼친다고 밝혔다.

부평구에 따르면, 전라남도축구협회에서 주최하는 이번 대회는 전남 구례군에서 열리며 12세 이하(U-12) 32팀, 11세 이하(U-11) 28팀이 참가하며, 부평구 유소년축구단은 두 부문 모두 출전한다.

이와 관련, 부평구 유소년축구단은 20일 구청 어울림마당에서 선수들 및 관계자가 참석한 가운데 출정식을 갖고, 좋은 경기를 펼칠 것을 다짐했다.

부평구 약사회는 선수들의 부상에 대비해 의약품 등을 이날 기부했으며, 구청 축구동호회는 선수들을 위한 격려금을 전달했다.

박기정 유소년축구단장(문화복지국장)은 “선수들이 이번 대회를 통해 다양한 경험을 쌓고, 역량을 다질 수 있는 기회를 갖게 될 것”이라며 “무엇보다도 선수단의 안전과 건강이 중요한 만큼 부상 없이 안전하게 대회를 마치고 오기를 바란다” 고 말했다.

한편, 부평구 유소년축구단은 선수(초등학교 2학년~5학년)를 연중 상시 모집 중이다.
