[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] BNK경남은행은 13일 고객 편의성 향상을 위해 새롭게 시행되고 있는 모바일 신분증을 영업점과 모바일뱅킹앱(App)에서 실명 확인 시 사용할 수 있도록 확대 실시한다고 밝혔다.

기존 모바일뱅킹앱 등 비대면에서 실명 확인을 위해 신분증을 직접 촬영해야 했으나 현재는 모바일 주민등록증으로 손쉽게 확인 가능하도록 변경했다.

모바일 주민등록증은 주민등록법 등에 따라 개인 스마트폰에 발급하는 주민등록증으로 현행 플라스틱 주민등록증과 동일한 법적 효력을 가진다.

비대면 실명 확인 시 모바일 신분증이 사용되는 항목으로는 비대면 전자금융 신규를 비롯해 비대면 계좌개설, 이체한도 관리, 고객확인제도, 디지털OTP 발급, 사고신고해제 등이 있다.

BNK경남은행은 주민등록증뿐만 아니라 운전면허증과 국가보훈등록증(비대면)까지 실명 확인이 가능할 수 있도록 모바일 신분증을 확대했으며 추후에는 모바일 외국인등록증도 추가할 예정이다.
