【브레이크뉴스 포항】박영재 기자=포항시는 13일 대이동 행정복지센터에서 ‘대잠1구역 재개발사업’정비구역 지정 및 정비계획 결정을 위한 주민설명회를 개최했다.

이날 설명회는 포항시 남구 대잠동 618-1번지 일원(32,925.1㎡) ‘대잠1구역 재개발사업’ 정비구역 지정 및 정비계획 결정(안)에 대해 ‘도시 및 주거환경정비법’에 따라 주민 의견을 청취하기 위해 마련됐다.

설명회에서는 해당 구역 주민들에게 재개발사업의 절차 및 정비계획 등을 안내하고, 재개발사업에 대한 질의응답 시간을 마련해 주민들의 궁금증을 해소했다.

‘대잠1구역 재개발사업’ 정비구역 지정 및 정비계획 결정(안)은 이달 27일까지 관계 서류 공람을 진행하며, 의견이 있는 경우 공람 기간 내 포항시청 공동주택과로 의견서를 제출하면 된다.

시는 주민설명회 이후 의회 의견 청취 및 각종 심의 등 정비구역 지정을 위한 관련 행정절차를 조속히 추진할 계획이다.

포항시 관계자는 “대잠1구역 재개발사업으로 노후한 주거지역을 정비해 주거환경을 개선하는 것은 물론 지역경제 활성화로 구도심에 활력을 불어넣을 수 있을 것으로 기대된다”고 말했다.
