이벤트는 관광객들에게 특산품을 제공함으로써 완도·특산품 홍보 및 관광 활성화를 도모하고자 마련됐다.

이벤트 대상은 제주도에서 완도로 향하는 한일고속 여객선을 이용한 관광객으로 완도군 외 타 지역에 주소를 두고 있어야 한다.

특산품은 선착순 100명에게 증정할 계획이다.

참여 방법은 ‘완도 치유 페스타’ 공식 SNS(인스타그램, 페이스북, 블로그)를 팔로우한 후, 제주도에서 완도행 여객선 승선권을 지참하여 완도 치유 페스타 현장 안내소를 방문하면 특산품을 받을 수 있다.

현장 안내소(완도읍 해변공원로 84)는 완도 해조류센터 내 위치해 있다.

군 관계자는 “제주에서 완도 행 여객선을 이용하는 관광객들이 많은데 완도 특산품 받고 완도에서 여행하며 힐링하는 시간 가져보시라고 이벤트를 마련했다”면서 “많은 관심과 참여 바란다”라고 말했다.

한편 완도군과 (주)한일고속은 2015년 업무 협약을 체결한 이후 협력 관계를 이어오고 있으며 지난 1월에는 내륙~제주 간 최단 항로인 완도~제주 항로에 대형 카페이 골드 스텔라호를 취항했다.
