(보성=브레이크뉴스) 이학수 기자=전남 보성군은 본격적인 영농철을 앞두고 농기계 사전 점검과 정비를 통해 안전사고 예방을 위해 지난 13일부터 ‘농기계 순회 수리 및 안전교육’(사진)을 실시한다고 밝혔다.

이번 교육은 벌교읍 징광리를 시작으로 10월 말까지 12개 읍면을 순회하며 총 30회에 걸쳐 진행된다.

현장에서는 수리 지도 요원이 직접 방문해 경운기, 이앙기, 관리기, 예초기, 방제기 등 소형 농기계의 점검과 정비를 지원하며, 고장 예방과 안전 사용 요령에 대한 교육도 함께 진행된다.

특히, 올해는 농기계 안전사고 예방을 위해 축광 반사테이프와 농기계 안전 사용 책자를 배포해 농업인들의 안전 의식을 높일 계획이다.

지난해 보성군은 64개 마을 383개 농가를 대상으로 총 355건의 정비와 475건의 수리를 진행했으며, 농업인들로부터 높은 만족도를 얻었다.

올해 역시 체계적인 점검과 1만 원 이하 부품 무상 지원 등 실질적인 지원을 제공해 농업인의 불편을 줄이고, 안전한 농작업 환경을 조성하는 데 주력할 예정이다.

군 관계자는 “농기계 순회 수리를 통해 미리 점검·정비하여 안전사고를 예방하길 바란다.”며 “농작업 전후 점검 습관을 형성하고, 보다 안전한 농업 환경을 만들 수 있도록 적극 지원하겠다.”라고 전했다.
