브레이크뉴스 노보림 기자= 지난 24일 서울 강동구의 한 도로에서 발생한 싱크홀(땅 꺼짐)에 매몰된 오토바이 운전자 박모(33)씨의 시신을 발견했다. 사고 17시간 만이다.

25일 소방당국에 따르면 박씨는 이날 오전 11시22분경 싱크홀 발생 지점으로부터 약 50m 떨어진 곳에서 발견됐다. 박씨는 안타깝게도 심정지 상태로 발견됐다.

소방당국 관계자는 "싱크홀 내부에는 쏟아진 토사와 물이 많아서 수위가 높았고, 공사와 관련된 시설장비가 얽혀 있어서 수색에 난항을 겪었다"면서 "배수장비를 동원해 물을 뺀 뒤 중장비를 투입해 바닥을 긁어내는 작업을 통해 박씨를 발견했다"고 설명했다.

한편, 싱크홀은 전날 오후 6시29분경 서울 강동구 명일동 대명초교 사거리에서 발생했다. 싱크홀 크기는 가로 20m, 세로 20m, 깊이 30m인 것으로 추정됐다. 6개 차선 중 4개 차선이 무너져 없어질 정도로 거대했다. 

이번 사고로 박씨 외에 가까스로 싱크홀 매몰을 피해간 40대 여성 차량 운전자 1명이 경상을 입고 병원에 이송됐다.

Body of driver who fell into sinkhole in Gangdong-gu discovered.. 17 hours after accident
