브레이크뉴스 임국정 기자 = 더불어민주당이 25일 심우정 검찰총장의 딸 특혜 채용 의혹을 제기하고 나섰다.

이현택 민주당 부대변인은 이날 논평을 통해 "심 총장의 딸이 국립외교원과 외교부에 연달아 채용됐다"라며 "자격 미달에도 채용공고마저 맞춤형으로 바뀌는 기막힌 특혜는 취업 절벽에 고통받는 청년들을 조롱한다"라고 밝혔다.

그는 "국립외교원 채용 공고에는 '석사 학위 소지자 또는 학사 졸업 후 관련 분야 2년 이상 경력자'라고 명시돼 있지만, 심 총장의 딸은 석사 학위는커녕 전공도 일치하지 않았다"라고 지적했다.

이어 "외교부 채용 과정은 더 가관"이라며 "공고에 '경제 관련 석사 학위 소지자'로 진행해 뽑은 최종 면접자를 떨어뜨리고, 갑자기 심 총장 딸의 전공과 일치하게 변경됐다"라고 짚었다.

이 부대변인은 "검찰총장의 위세가 얼마나 대단하기에 이런 노골적 특혜 취업이 가능한가?"라며 "과학 인재를 양성하기 위한 장학금이 인문계인 심 총장 아들에게 돌아간 것 역시 마찬가지"라고 비판했다.

그는 "심 총장은 이런 특혜를 더 이상 '사생활' 운운해 외면하려 하지 마라"라며 "청년들의 상처를 안다면 모든 사실을 이실직고하고, 책임질 일이 있다면 스스로 자리에서 내려오라"라고 촉구했다.

또 "검찰은 뇌물과 청탁금지법 위반 혐의로 고발된 심 총장에 대해 즉각 수사에 착수하라"라며 "검찰이 이번에도 선택적 정의로 국민을 기만한다면, 국민께서 용납하지 않으실 것"이라고 경고했다.
