(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천시교육청이 26일, 지역 기반형 유아교육·보육 혁신지원 사업을 확대하고, 교육청, 지자체, 대학 간 협력을 강화할 계획이다고 밝혔다.

인천시교육청에 따르면, 지난 25일 교육청은 유치원과 어린이집 원장 및 선도교사 70여 명이 참석한 가운데 사업 설명회를 개최했다.

경인교육대학교 김호 교수의 강연으로 시작된 설명회에서는 유아교육과 어린이집의 이음교육 활성화 방안이 논의됐다.

2024년에는 경인교대, 경인여대와 협력해 인천 특색을 반영한 교육과정 및 방과후 프로그램 8종을 개발하고, 인천시청과 협력해 어린이집 행정 지원을 강화했다.

또, KB금융지주와 협력해 유아교육 거점기관 환경개선비를 지원하고, 교육부 사업평가에서 ‘우수’ 교육청으로 선정됐다.

2025년에는 유·보 이음교육 거점기관을 기존 21개원에서 33개원으로 확대하고, ‘읽걷쓰 교육’을 기반으로 한 유아 예술교육 프로그램과 장애 유아를 위한 교육도 진행할 예정이다.

또, 유아교육 및 보육 현장의 소통을 위한 온라인 플랫폼 ‘인천아이이음’을 활성화해 기관 간 협력을 강화할 계획이다.

인천교육청 관계자는 “지속적인 협력으로 인천형 유아교육 혁신을 실현하고, 인천의 아이들이 글로벌 인재로 성장할 수 있도록 지원하겠다”고 밝혔다.
