【브레이크뉴스 경북】진예솔 기자=경북교육청이 긴급복지서비스 ‘교육복지119’를 통해 의성 산불로 피해를 입은 학생 지원에 나선다고 26일 밝혔다.

교육복지119는 각종 재난.재해.사고 등으로 학업 지속이 어려운 학생들을 신속하게 지원해 교육 회복과 안정적인 학교생활 복귀를 돕는 사업이다.

학생 본인뿐만 아니라 주변에서 위기 학생을 발견한 경우 누구나 학교장 추천 또는 경북교육청 홈페이지 ‘교육복지119 추천함’을 통해 신청 가능하다.

심사를 거쳐 선정되면 지속적인 모니터링과 지역 관계기관 자원 연계를 통해 체계적인 지원이 이뤄진다.

긴급 상황이 해소될 때까지 학교를 통해 지속적으로 신청 받을 예정이다.

임종식 교육감은 “예상치 못한 재난으로 어려움을 겪는 학생들이 학업을 이어갈 수 있도록 맞춤형 긴급복지서비스를 적극 지원하겠다”고 말했다.
