[브레이크뉴스=배종태 기자] 2025 부산오픈 국제 챌린저 테니스 대회가 오는 13~ 20일까지 금정체육공원 테니스경기장에서개최된다.

1999년 국내대회 개최 후 올해로 25주년을 맞는 ‘부산오픈’은 세계 남자 챌린저 대회 중에서도 최상위급에 속하는 ‘챌린저 125급 대회’다.

이번 대회에는 총상금 20만 달러(약 2억 9천만 원)를 두고 국내 11명, 해외 69명 등 총 30개국 80명의 프로 선수가 참가한다.

대회는 13일부터 19일까지 남자 단·복식 예선전, 본선전이 진행되며, 단식 49경기(예선 18, 본선 31)와 복식 15경기(본선 15) 등 총 64경기를 치르게 된다.
