【브레이크뉴스 포항】박영재 기자=선린대학교(총장 곽진환) 국제교류교육센터는 지난 4일 경주시 일원에서 한국어과정 외국인 유학생 150여 명을 대상으로 한국 문화 체험 프로그램을 실시했다.

이번 체험활동은 경주 월정교, 첨성대, 황리단길 등 신라의 역사 유적지를 탐방하며, 유학생들이 한국 전통문화와 역사에 대한 이해를 높이고, 실제 생활 속에서 한국어를 활용할 수 있도록 기획됐다.

유학생들은 한국어 교사들이 준비한 다양한 미션 수행을 통해 자연스럽게 한국 문화를 접하고, 한국어 실력을 실생활에 적용해보는 기회를 가졌다. 또한 함께 활동하면서 공동체 의식을 함양하고 즐거운 추억도 쌓았다.

베트남 출신의 응웬 전 하이 엔 학생은 “한국 드라마에서 보던 아름다운 경주의 유적지를 직접 방문해 친구들과 사진도 찍고, 한식을 즐길 수 있어 매우 특별한 경험이었다”고 소감을 밝혔다.

최현아 국제교류교육센터장은 “이번 프로그램은 유학생들이 교실을 벗어나 실생활 속에서 한국어를 자연스럽게 사용하고 한국 문화에 적응하는 데 목적이 있다”며, “앞으로도 유학생들의 다양한 경험과 성장을 돕기 위해 지속적으로 체험활동과 지원을 확대해 나가겠다”고 전했다.

한편, 선린대학교 국제교류교육센터는 연 4회 한국어 과정을 운영하며, 한국어 교육은 물론 문화체험, 진로상담 등 외국인 유학생들의 안정적인 유학 생활을 위한 종합적인 지원 시스템을 갖추고 있다.

 About 150 foreign students from Seonlin University experience Korean culture in Gyeongju

On the 4th, Seonlin University (President Kwak Jin-hwan) International Exchange Education Center conducted a Korean culture experience program for about 150 foreign students in the Korean language course in Gyeongju.

This experience activity was planned to help the students increase their understanding of Korean traditional culture and history and use Korean in real life by visiting historical sites of Silla such as Woljeonggyo Bridge, Cheomseongdae, and Hwangridan-gil in Gyeongju.

The students naturally encountered Korean culture and had the opportunity to apply their Korean language skills to real life by performing various missions prepared by Korean teachers. They also fostered a sense of community and made happy memories while working together.

Nguyen Jeon Hai Yen, a student from Vietnam, said, “It was a very special experience to visit the beautiful historical sites of Gyeongju that I saw in Korean dramas, take pictures with friends, and enjoy Korean food.”

Choi Hyun-ah, the director of the International Exchange Education Center, said, “This program aims to help international students use Korean naturally in real life outside of the classroom and adapt to Korean culture,” and added, “We will continue to expand experiential activities and support to help international students have diverse experiences and grow.” Meanwhile, the Sunlin University International Exchange Education Center operates a Korean language course four times a year and has a comprehensive support system for international students to have a stable study abroad life, including Korean language education, cultural experiences, and career counseling.
