브레이크뉴스 정민우 기자= KT는 2025년 1분기 배당금을 주당 600원으로 확정했다고 15일 밝혔다.

이번 1분기 총 배당금 규모는 약 1470억 원이며, 시가배당율은 1.2%이다. 배당 기준일은 지난 3월 31일이며, 지급 예정일은 이달 30일이다.

KT는 지난해부터 주주의 편의성을 높이고 ESG 경영을 강화하기 위해 온라인 배당 조회 서비스를 도입했다. KT의 주주는 4월 15일부터 PC 및 모바일 기기를 통해 KT 홈페이지에서 간단한 주주 인증 절차를 거쳐 1분기 배당금을 조회할 수 있다.

한편, KT는 기업가치제고 계획(밸류업 프로그램)의 차질 없는 이행을 위해 오는 8월까지 약 2500억원 규모의 자사주를  매입할 계획이다. 이를 통해 주주환원 노력을 지속한다는 방침이다.

KT 재무실장 장민 전무는 “회사의 성과를 주주와 함께 공유하는 것은 기업가치 향상의 중요한 출발점이다”며 “안정적인 재무 건전성과 수익성을 기반으로 KT의 기업가치를 꾸준히 높여 나가겠다”고 말했다.
