브레이크뉴스 박동제 기자= 그룹 엑소 멤버 겸 솔로가수 백현이 악플러에 대한 법적 대응에 나섰다.
16일 백현의 소속사 INB100 측은 공식입장을 내고 “당사는 소속 아티스트 백현의 권익을 보호하기 위해 지속적인 모니터링과 팬들의 제보를 바탕으로 SNS, 온라인 커뮤니티, 다음 카페 등에서 백현을 대상으로 한 악성 게시글 및 댓글에 대한 증거를 수집해 왔다”고 밝혔다.
이어 “수집된 자료를 근거로 지난 15일 서울 광진경찰서에 모욕죄, 명예훼손, 허위사실 유포, 성희롱 등의 혐의로 수사를 요청하는 고소장을 접수했다”고 알렸다.
그러면서 “앞으로도 악의적인 게시물에 대해 자체 모니터링을 지속하는 한편, 팬들이 제공해 주는 자료를 면밀히 검토해 증거를 수집·보관하고, 강력한 법적 대응을 이어갈 예정이다”고 말했다.
마지막으로 백현 측은 “당사는 향후에도 소속 아티스트 및 구성원들을 향한 악의적인 행위에 대해 어떠한 선처나 합의 없이 강경하게 대응할 것이며, 아티스트의 권익 보호를 위해 최선을 다하겠다”고 덧붙였다.
한편, 백현은 지난달 29일 경북, 경남, 울산 등 전국적인 산불 피해 복구와 산불구조요원 및 이재민 지원을 위해 2억원을 기부했다.
