박상봉, 이정연, 이수진 시인이 4월18일(금) 저녁 7시에 ‘도詩락’ 콘서트에 초청됐다. 대구 명덕네거리 부근 남산동 자동차 부품 골목에서 새롭게 문을 연 동이갤러리의 개관 기념행사. 박상봉 시인이 시 토크 진행을 맡았다. 초청된 세 시인의 시집에 대한 심층 토론이 이루어진다.
도시락(圖詩樂), 동이갤러리의 메인 콘셉트
지난 3월 15일 탄생한 동이갤러리는 4월에 개관전을 열고 있다. 작품 관람과 구입뿐 아니라 다채로운 예술체험을 할 수 있는 색다른 콘셉트를 선보인다. 동이갤러리는 따뜻하고 예쁜 외관으로 먼저 눈길을 끈다. 인상적인 주황색 철문을 열고 안으로 들어서면 그림은 물론 시와 음악을 만날 수 있다.
이른바 ‘도시락(圖詩樂)’. 도시락은 동이갤러리가 새로 오픈하며 정한 메인 콘셉트. ‘예술로 인연을 잇다’는 모토로 ① 문턱 없는 갤러리 ② 나누는 갤러리 ③ 즐기는 갤러리를 추구한다.
‘문턱 없는 갤러리’는 남녀노소, 빈부격차를 넘어 지역주민과 소통하는 갤러리를 표방한다. 이를 위해 대작보다 소품의 비중을 높였고 신진작가들의 전시도 다수 진행한다. 또 ‘Art Science, My Mime(몸짓으로 쓰는 詩)’, 미술사 마스킹 등 예술체험 프로그램을 통해 관람객과 주민들이 숨겨진 취미를 발견하고 예술로 일상을 즐길 수 있도록 도울 예정.

동이와 함께 하는 4월, 치유의 봄
‘도詩락 콘서트’는 그 일환으로 처음 열리는 개관 기념행사. 사회 인식이 강하고 마음이 열린 작가로 알려진 박상봉, 이정연, 이수진 세 시인을 초대해 4월, 치유의 봄을 맞아 의미 있는 詩토크 자리를 마련했다.
대구시인협회 사무국장을 역임한 박상봉 시인은 문단 활동이 왕성하다. 앞산 시집 전문 독립서점 ‘산아래 詩’와 전국 11개 자매점을 돌며 매달 릴레이 詩토크를 진행하고 있다. 한국작가회의 대구경북지회 사무처장인 이정연 시인은 세상에 대한 관심이 깊은 시인이다. 교사와 엄마의 역할로 유리구슬처럼 초롱초롱한 눈을 뜨고 병든 사회와 ‘유족의 나라’를 지키는 불침번이 되고자 한다.
현대시 추천으로 등단한 이수진 시인은 독특한 시선으로 형상·풍경을 시에 담아낸다. 냉소·환멸·아픔 대신 현실이 활력을 잃고 멈춘 틈에 시가 등장하는 순간을 포착한다. 이날 행사에는 박상봉의 세 번째 시집 『물속에 두고 온 귀』, 이정연 시집 『유리구슬은 썩지 않는다』, 이수진 시집 『우리가 사과처럼 웃을 때』 등에 대한 심층 토론이 이루어진다.

작가와의 협업 통해 미혼모 자립 돕기로
동이갤러리 디렉터 유성동 씨는 “그림과 시, 음악을 담는 예술도시락(圖詩樂) 작품을 미혼모들과 작가가 함께 밀도 있게 협업하는 시스템을 구축해 그들의 자립을 도울 예정이다. 관람객이 직접 詩와 그림을 그려 가져가거나 작가가 그려 놓은 도시락(圖詩樂) 굿즈를 구매할 수도 있다”라고 전했다.
이어서 “동이갤러리가 詩필사코너, 詩다리타기, 작가의 그림엽서에 색칠하기, 미래에 받을 편지쓰기 등 다채로운 체험을 즐기며 미을 주민과 관람객과 작가와의 인연을 이어주는 곳, 소외계층과 약자를 예술작업으로 이어주는 곳이 되길 바란다”라며 포부를 밝혔다.
이날은 가수 손정우의 노래 공연을 듣고 실제로 도시락으로 만찬을 함께 하며, 문학과 미술 음악에 대한 담소를 나누는 시간도 마련된다.
한편, 예술을 통해 나눔을 실천하는 동이갤러리 개관전에는 원로작가 천광호(4월의 슬픔 외8점)를 비롯해 김윤경(꽃제비 아이들 외 5점), 신용진(Relations 외 2점), 이예지(7930K 외 4점) 등 신진작가 3인이 세대와 장르를 넘어선 다양한 작품 25점을 선보인다.
