창원특례시는 16일 성산도서관 성산홀에서 작은도서관 관계자 70여 명이 참여한 가운데 ‘2025년 상반기 작은도서관 역량강화 워크숍’을 개최했다.

이번 워크숍은 작은도서관 활성화 및 운영종사자 역량강화를 위해 실시했으며, △오픈공연 △2025년 작은도서관 운영평가 우수시설 시상식 △도서관등록제 등 안내사항 △역량강화 특강 순으로 진행됐다.

특히 시상식에서는 지난 한 해 동안 운영실적이 우수한 10개소에 대해 시상했고, 작은도서관 부문에서는 위드파크환경도서관이, 새마을문고 부문에선 우성아파트새마을문고가 각각 최우수의 영예를 안았다.

현재 창원시에는 총 93개소의 작은도서관이 있으며, 작은도서관 활성화를 위해 매년 역량강화 워크숍, 전문 순회사서 파견 지원, 운영 성과평가, 운영실태 지도점검, 노후시설 개선 등 다양한 사업들을 추진해 오고 있다.

창원청년비전센터에서는 청년 역량강화 교육의 일환으로 ‘AI 활용 아카데미’ 교육과정을 개설하여 참여자를 모집한다고 밝혔다.

올해 처음 개설된 AI 활용 아카데미는 2024년 창원 청년네트워크 일자리 분과의 정책제안을 바탕으로 기획됐다. 빠르게 변화하는 디지털 시대에 청년들이 생성형 AI를 이해하고, 이를 통해 취업 및 실생활에 효과적으로 AI를 접목할 수 있도록 총 3개 과정으로 교육과정을 구성하였다.
