브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 이병관 국민의힘 중앙선대위 청년대변인은 21일 "이재명 후보가 자신의 비현실적인 경제 정책에 대한 비판을 '무식한 소리'라고 폄훼한 것은 매우 모욕적인 발언"이라고 비판했다.

이 대변인은 이날 '커피 원가 120원·호텔 경제 순환론·이젠 무식 타령까지… 이재명의 위험한 상상력'이라는 제하의 논평을 통해 "이 후보는 인천 유세에서 '나라 빚이 1000조 원으로 늘었다는 등 나라가 빚을 지면 안 된다는 무식한 소리를 하는 사람이 있다'고 말했다. 자신의 사이비식 확장재정론에 대한 정당한 비판을 '무식하다'고 낙인찍은 것"이라고 지적했다.

이어 "이 후보는 이날 '우리나라는 국민총생산이 2600조 원인데 국가부채는 50%가 안 된다'며 빚을 더 내도 괜찮다는 듯한 발언을 했다"며, "이는 마치 국민 전체 소득이 본인의 재산인 양 착각하는 태도로, 공산주의적 발상이 떠오른다"고 주장했다.

그러면서 "이 후보의 위험한 상상력의 대가는 결국 청년 세대가 치르게 될 것"이라며, "나라 살림을 무책임하게 운영하고 미래 세대에 그 부담을 넘기는 정책에 동의할 청년은 없다"고 강조했다.

이 대변인은 "이 후보의 발언은 경제에 대한 무지를 감추기 위한 것으로, 국민을 '무식하다'고 지적질하는 오만함에서 비롯된 것"이라며, "자신의 실책과 논란을 남 탓으로 돌려온 이 후보가 이제는 국민에게까지 책임을 전가하려는 모습"이라고 비판했다.
