【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충청북도교육청(교육감 윤건영)은 5월 24일부터 경상남도 일원에서 열리고 있는 제54회 전국소년체육대회에서 충청북도 선수단이 대회 3일차인 5월 26일 15시 기준, 금메달 7개, 은메달 4개, 동메달 11개를 추가로 획득하며 총 메달 103개(금 33, 은 24, 동 46)를 달성하는 쾌거를 이루었다고 전했다.

체조에서는 남초부 인승훈 학생선수(수성초)가 안마, 김승리 학생선수(수성초)가 도마에서, 여초부 허윤미 학생선수(용두초)가 평균대에서 금메달을 목에 걸었다.

롤러에서는 남초부 이민용 학생선수(장락초)가 1000m에서, 여초부 박초율 학생선수(동광초)가 1000m, 여중부 권세진 학생선수(단성중)가 P5000m에서 금빛 질주를 이어갔으며, 이 외에도 태권도, 씨름, 복싱 등 다양한 종목에서 충북 선수들이 고른 활약을 펼쳤다.

마지막 날인 5월 27일(화)에는 각 종목 결승전이 집중되어 있으며, 충북 선수단의 최종 메달 경쟁이 이어질 예정이다.

주요 단체전 결승 경기로는 야구 남초부 석교초, 남중부 세광중, 농구 남초부 중앙초, 핸드볼 여초부 금천초, 하키 남중부 제천중학교가 금메달 사냥을 나선다. 

이외에도 양궁 남중부, 여중부 단체전, 복싱, 레슬링 체급경기 결승, 수영 혼계영 및 개인 혼영 결승 등 충북 선수단은 마지막 날까지 최선을 다해 유종의 미를 거둘 예정이다.

이번 대회는 5월 24일(토)부터 27일(화)까지 경상남도 일원에서 열리며, 전국에서 모인 선수들이 36개 종목에 참가해 기량을 겨루고 있다. 

충북에서는 남녀 총 795명의 학생선수가 참가하고 있다.
