브레이크뉴스 박동제 기자= 1980-90년대 한국 남자배구의 전성기를 이끈 ‘돌고래 스파이커’ 장윤창 경기대 교수가 지병으로 30일 별세했다. 향년 65세.
30일 배구계에 따르면, 지난해 말 위암 판정을 받고 투병해온 장윤창 교수는 이날 오전 세상을 떠났다. 빈소는 서울 강남구 삼성서울병원 장례식장 2호실에 마련됐으며, 발인은 6월 1일이다.
장윤창 교수는 1978년 인창고 2학년 시절 17세의 나이로 최연소 국가대표에 발탁됐고, 그해 세계선수권대회에서 한국의 4강 진출에 힘을 보탰다.
