[브레이크뉴스=황민성 기자] 여름의 초입에 해바라기의 노란 물결이 장관을 이루는 제13회 강주해바라기 축제가 강주해바라기축제위원회 주관으로 함안군 법수면 강주마을 일원에서 오는 18일부터 7월 2일까지 열린다.

강주해바라기 축제는 2013년 1회를 시작으로 올해 13회를 맞는다. 

18일 오전 11시 축제 시작을 알리는 개막행사를 시작으로 공연과 농특산물 판매, 먹거리마당 등이 다채롭게 펼쳐진다.

강주마을 일원에서 열리는 강주해바라기 축제는 식재면적 총 4만2,500㎡ 규모 내 해바라기와 백일홍, 이색 박터널이 방문객을 맞이한다.
