대구 동구청은 13일부터 이틀간 동촌유원지 해맞이다리 광장 일원에서 '제2회 동구 음식문화축제 2025 오미락(五味樂) 페스티벌'을 연다. 지난해 첫 개최에 이어 올해는 ‘오미(五味)’를 주제로, 단맛·짠맛·신맛·쓴맛·매운맛과 함께 닭, 오리, 연근, 미나리 삼겹살, 산채요리 등 동구를 대표하는 5가지 음식이 주인공이다.

행사 첫날에는 불로중 오케스트라의 식전 공연과 함께 개막식, 칵테일쇼, 음식문화 퀴즈쇼, DJ 파티 등이 열리고, 둘째 날에는 오세득 셰프가 참여하는 100인 라이브 쿠킹쇼와 즉석 요리대결, 음악회가 펼쳐진다.

이외에도 ‘먹거리맛길존’ 부스와 스탬프 챌린지, 밀키트·우수식품 홍보판매관, 제과체험, 오미체험존, 키즈아트존 등 온 가족이 즐길 수 있는 프로그램이 마련된다. 윤석준 동구청장은 “동촌유원지에서 열리는 이번 축제가 동구의 맛과 문화를 알리는 계기가 되길 바란다”고 전했다.

북구, 떡볶이로 떠나는 레트로 피크닉 ‘떡볶이 유원지’

같은 기간 대구 북구청은 도시철도 3호선 동천역 하단 팔거천 둔치에서 ‘2025 팔거천 떡크닉: 떡볶이 유원지’ 행사를 연다. 오후 5시부터 밤 10시까지 열리는 이 축제는 북구의 대표 간식 떡볶이를 주제로 한 레트로 감성 피크닉으로 꾸며진다.

현장에는 평상과 원형 철제 밥상, 포장마차 형태의 부스들이 설치되고, 떡볶이 푸드트럭과 밀키트 판매, 맥주 부스 등이 운영된다. 대표 프로그램인 ‘떡볶이는 핑계고’는 미혼남녀 대상의 소개팅 이벤트로, 게임과 레크리에이션을 통해 새로운 인연을 맺는 기회를 제공한다.
