조 선수는 지난 7일 오후 8시 55분(한국시간), 대만 타이베이 시립경기장에서 열린 '2025 대만 국제오픈육상선수권대회' 여자 3000m 장애물 경기에서 1위로 결승선을 통과했다.

조하림은 앞서 구미에서 개최된 아시아육상경기선수권대회에서 개인 통산 7번째 한국 신기록을 세운 지 불과 일주일 만에 또다시 국제대회에 출전, 압도적인 기량으로 정상에 올랐다.

2023년 문경시청 입단 이후 2년 차를 맞은 조하림 선수는 팀의 주축으로 자리잡으며, 철저한 자기관리와 책임감 있는 자세로 국내 최고의 중·장거리 육상팀 구축에 크게 기여하고 있다.

한편, 같은 시기 예천에서 열린 '제53회 KBS배 전국육상경기대회'에서도 문경시청 소속 주장 이동욱 선수가 남자 일반부 1500m 경기에서 1위를 차지하며 팀의 위상을 높였다.

문경시청 육상단은 최근 국내외 주요 대회에서 잇달아 우수한 성적을 거두며 한국 육상의 새로운 흐름을 주도하고 있다.

신현국 문경시장은 “우리 시청 실업선수단이 창단 이래 최고의 성적을 거두고 있다”며 “지도자와 선수 모두가 하나된 목표 아래 달려가고 있기에 가능한 일”이라고 평가했다. 이어 “전국의 유망주들이 문경시청을 선호하고 찾아올 수 있도록 앞으로도 적극적인 지원을 아끼지 않겠다”고 밝혔다.

Just a week after setting her 7th personal Korean record at the Asian Athletics Championships held in Gumi, Jo Ha-rim competed in another international competition and rose to the top with overwhelming skill.
