[브레이크뉴스=배종태 기자] 물 맑고 모래 고운 해운대해수욕장을 맨발로 걸어보는 특별한 경험이 찾아온다.

해운대구는 오는 21일 오후 6시, 해운대해수욕장에서 '맨발 걷기대회'를 개최한다고 밝혔다.

이번 행사는 해운대해수욕장의 공식 개장일을 예년보다 열흘 앞당겨 알리는 동시에, 맨발 걷기 명소로 떠오른 해운대를 전국에 알리기 위한 취지로 마련됐다.

이날 오후 6시, 해운대 이벤트 광장에서는 활기찬 치어리딩 축하공연과 몸을 푸는 스트레칭, 올바른 걷기법 안내가 진행된다.

본격적인 걷기는 오후 6시 30분부터 시작되며, 해변을 따라 1.5km를 왕복하는 총 3km 코스로 구성된다. 참가자들은 바닷바람을 맞으며 모래사장을 맨발로 걸으며 건강과 힐링을 동시에 즐길 수 있다.

걷기대회는 유튜브 생중계를 통해 신청곡과 사연을 나누고, 퀴즈를 즐기는 등 다채로운 소통이 함께 이루어져 재미와 감동을 더할 예정이다.

참가 신청은 6월 9일부터 17일까지 해운대구청 홈페이지(www.haeundae.go.kr) 공지사항 또는 QR코드를 통해 가능하며, 선착순 800명을 모집한다. 행사 당일에는 현장 접수 200명도 가능하다.

작년 4월 처음 열린 해운대 맨발 걷기대회는 큰 호응을 얻으며 '맨발 걷기 열풍'을 실감케 했고, 해운대 바다와 함께하는 건강 걷기로 자리잡았다.

김성수 해운대구청장은 “이번 대회를 통해 많은 주민들이 건강을 다지고, 해운대 바다황톳길을 비롯해 다양한 맨발 걷기 콘텐츠를 즐길 수 있기를 바란다”고 전했다.
