【브레이크뉴스 대구】이성현 기자=한국장학재단(이사장 배병일)과 교육부(부총리 겸 교육부장관 이주호)는 오는 6월 23일(월) 오후 6시까지 2025학년도 2학기 1차 국가장학금 신청 접수를 진행한다고 11일 밝혔다.

신청은 5월 23일(금) 오전 9시부터 가능하며, 재학생은 반드시 이번 1차 기간 내에 신청해야 등록금 우선감면 등의 혜택을 받을 수 있다.

국가장학금은 소득 및 재산 기준을 충족한 대학생들에게 등록금 부담을 줄이기 위해 지원되는 소득연계형 장학금으로, 학자금지원구간 산정을 위한 평가에는 약 8주 정도가 소요된다. 이번 신청 대상은 재학생뿐 아니라 복학생, 신입생, 편입생, 재입학생 등 모든 대학생이 포함된다.

신청은 한국장학재단 누리집(www.kosaf.go.kr) 또는 모바일 앱 '한국장학재단'을 통해 가능하며, 신청 시 국가장학금 I·II유형과 다자녀 장학금이 통합 신청된다.

2025년부터 국가장학금 지원대상이 기존 ‘8구간 이하’에서 ‘9구간 이하’까지 확대된다. 또한, 18구간 학생들의 장학금 지원액이 구간별로 5만20만 원 인상된다.

국가장학금을 신청한 학생은 6월 30일(월) 오후 6시까지 가구원 정보 제공 동의 및 추가 서류 제출을 완료해야 한다. 가구원 동의는 공동·금융·간편 인증서 등을 활용해 온라인으로 가능하며, 2015년 이후 이미 동의한 경우는 절차 생략이 가능하다.

다만, 가구원이 고령이거나 해외 체류 중일 경우, 관련 동의서와 신분증 사본을 온라인 제출 또는 우편·팩스를 통해 제출해야 한다. 필요한 경우 가까운 재단 지역센터나 청년창업센터에 직접 방문하여 제출할 수도 있다.

서류 제출은 신청자의 가족정보가 공적 정보와 불일치할 경우에만 필요하며, 주민등록등본, 가족관계증명서 등은 ‘정부24’ 또는 대법원 전자가족관계등록시스템에서 무료 발급할 수 있다.

재단은 신청 후 2~3일 내에 문자 메시지로 서류 제출 여부를 안내하며, 누리집에서도 관련 정보를 확인할 수 있다.
