[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 경남도는 11일 한국승강기안전공단과 공동주택 승강기 안전관리 역량 강화와 공동주택 승강기 교체공사에 대한 경제 부담 완화를 위한 교육과 자문을 위한 업무협약을 체결했다.

이번 업무협약은 도내 노후 공동주택 승강기 증가에 따른 안전사고 발생에 선제 대응함과 동시에 승강기 유지관리, 교체공사에 대한 전문적인 자문체계를 구축하기 위해 마련됐다.

경남에 설치된 승강기는 약 4만6,000여 대다. 그중 약 53%인 2만5,000여 대가 공동주택에 설치돼 있으며, 15년 이상 경과해 면밀한 시설유지관리가 필요한 승강기는 약 9,500여 대로, 승강기 사고 예방을 위한 유지관리 노하우, 교체공사에 대한 전문가 자문 등에 대한 도민의 수요가 급격히 증가하는 실정이다.
