[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] BNK경남은행과 진주시사회복지협의회가 13일 진주시장애인문화체육센터에서 업무협약(MOU)을 체결하고, '사회복지 종사자'를 매개로 한 금융 교육 확산에 나선다. 

이는 금융 교육이 취약계층에게 직접 전달되기 어려운 한계를 극복하고, 현장 전문가를 금융 멘토로 양성하겠다는 차별화된 전략이다.

이번 협약의 핵심은 진주시사회복지협의회 회원기관 직원들을 대상으로 하는 맞춤형 금융 교육 프로그램의 공동 기획 및 운영이다. 두 기관은 일선 복지 현장에서 금융 취약계층과 가장 가까이 접하는 사회복지시설 종사자들이 먼저 금융 지식을 무장함으로써, 이들이 현장에서 체계적인 금융 상담과 정보를 제공할 수 있도록 지원할 계획이다.
