동국제약은 “물을 넣지 않고 토마토를 통째로 착즙하는 NFC(Not From Concentrate) 공법으로 수확 후 24시간 이내 빠르게 착즙해 영양소 손실은 최소화하고, 원물 본연의 맛과 신선도를 유지했다”며 “설탕, 향료, 정제수를 일절 첨가하지 않았으며, 농약과 화학 비료를 사용하지 않은 유기농 원료를 95% 이상 사용한 가공식품에 부여되는 ‘유기가공식품 인증’을 받은 토마토만을 사용했다”고 설명했다.
