브레이크뉴스 박동제 기자= 가수 휘성(본명 최휘성)이 자택에서 숨진 채 발견됐다. 향년 43세.
휘성의 소속사 타조엔터테인먼트는 10일 공식입장을 통해 “너무나 가슴 아프고 비통한 소식을 전하게 돼 죄송하다”며 “소속 아티스트 휘성이 우리 곁을 떠났다. 고인은 서울 자택에서 심정지 상태로 발견돼 사망 판정을 받았다”고 밝혔다.
이어 “갑작스러운 비보에 유가족을 비롯한 타조엔터테인먼트 동료 아티스트 및 임직원 모두 비통한 심정으로 고인을 애도하고 있다”고 전했다.
그러면서 “휘성에게 아낌없는 응원과 사랑을 보내준 팬 여러분께 안타까운 소식을 전하게 돼 너무나 가슴이 아프다. 휘성이 편안히 쉴 수 있도록 고인의 명복을 빌어주길 바란다”며 “큰 충격과 슬픔에 빠진 유가족을 위해 확인되지 않은 루머와 추측성 보도는 자제해 주길 간곡히 부탁드린다”고 말했다.
