브레이크뉴스 최애리 기자= 카카오가 카카오톡 채팅방에 스포일러(영화, 소설, 애니메이션 등의 주요 줄거리나 스포츠 경기 결말 등을 알리는 행위) 등 이용자에게 민감할 수 있는 내용이 나온다면 바로 보지 못하도록 하는 기능을 추가했다.

카카오에 따르면 만약 메시지를 보내려는 이용자가 카카오톡 메시지 입력창에서 상대방에게 가리고 싶은 텍스트 부분을 길게 누르면 '스포 방지' 버튼이 나타난다. 

스포 방지 버튼을 클릭한 후 메시지를 전송하면 해당 텍스트는 모자이크된 채 전달된다.

모자이크 처리가 되면 채팅방, 채팅방 리스트 등 카카오톡 내부와 알림창 등에서 모두 가려진다. 

수신자가 모자이크된 부분을 클릭한다면 가린 내용을 알 수 있다. 내용 확인 후 채팅방을 나간 뒤 다시 접속하면 해당 내용이 모자이크된 채로 복구돼 유지된다.

이 기능을 통해 주소, 계좌번호와 같은 민감한 내용 등을 가릴 수 있는데 말풍선당 최대 10개까지 '스포 방지' 영역을 설정할 수 있다.

Added KakaoTalk spoiler prevention feature.. Mosaicing sensitive content

Kakao has added a feature to prevent users from immediately seeing content that may be sensitive to them, such as spoilers (revealing the main plot of a movie, novel, or animation, or the ending of a sports game) in KakaoTalk chat rooms.

According to Kakao, if a user wants to send a message, long-presses the text part that they want to hide from the other person in the KakaoTalk message input window, a 'Spoiler Prevention' button will appear.

If the user clicks the spoiler prevention button and sends the message, the text will be delivered mosaiced.

Once mosaiced, it will be hidden from all parts of KakaoTalk, such as the chat room, chat room list, and notification window.

If the recipient clicks on the mosaiced part, they will be able to see the hidden content. If they leave the chat room after checking the content and then reconnect, the content will be restored and maintained as mosaiced.

This feature allows users to hide sensitive content such as addresses and account numbers, and up to 10 'Spoiler Prevention' areas can be set per speech bubble.
